General Information and Requirement




I. Introduction


My community service is at Fowler high school. I'm helping Mr.Tan after school, I'm helping the student who does not pass with there math regent or finish math home work. we start to the after school program at 2:30 and we end at 3:30. we do after school every week, Monday through Friday.
we want the student to finish with there school work and not failing there classes.  

II.    Profile of the organization(s) you worked for. Who are they? What do they do to serve the community? When do they provide their services? Where do they provide their services? Why is there a need for their services?
I working for Mr.Tan after school. we helping the student that struggle with there math problem and home work. we start the program at 2:30 to 3:30 every Monday -Friday. we provide the services at G.W. High School.

Vision: Our vision is to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where all students will recognize and achieve their fullest potential, with support from staff and community resources, so all are prepared for college/career and ultimately contributing their life purpose and skills to society.

Mission: Fowler High School recognizes that each student is an individual; that all students are creative; that all students need to succeed. Therefore, Fowler High School respects the individual needs of students; fosters a caring and creative environment; and emphasizes the social, emotional, physical, intellectual development of each student.

III.  Description of the specific tasks you performed for he organization or individual
Were are not individual. we work for organization.


IV.  Discuss any memorable personal experience; positive or negative, you had during your service that you feel were important.    How these tasks impacted the mission of the organization or the well-being of the individual?
the student are good, they do there work and they focus on what they need to do but sometime they talking. but i feel important because were are human being we need to help each others. i enjoy that i have a chance to help. it the the organization to work together and to help one and others and to correct each others. it help individuals by learning by there self and they can do by there self during there test, quiz and regent.

My Personal reaction to the  act of performing community service was excited about this community service but sometime i feel like irrigating because we help them to become a better person there life and be educated person but sometime they don't listen. i believe that the impact on community service has on our society was it important on the people life and to the country because the more you know and educated you will become a important person to the country and people will know you and take a example of you.
